I'm trained as a Hatha Yoga teacher in the Sivananda lineage, and I take my practice beyond the poses.
It doesn't matter whether you're a novice, beginner, or intermediate.
My yoga guidance focuses on opening up the body, balancing the chakras, moving stuck memories & traumas, & releasing unwanted energy.
Yoga is not just about the pose. Yes, it's important to come into the pose - the asana - but that's just the beginning.
The real work is in holding the pose - from 30 seconds to one minute to two to five, & beyond -
such that you can meditate in the pose because it's now so stable & comfortable. Sthira Sukham Asana.
